ABOUT
The goal of the Peabody Science Foundation is to provide comprehensive and practical science tutoring for high school students. Based in the City of Oakland, the after-school program is designed to engage with students and foster a love of science and public health. The current focus is helping future nurses, doctors and scientists get into and graduate from college with a STEM degree. The program focuses on exploring the fun side of science, such as learning the physics of sports and music, or the chemistry of cooking. Activities will be taught in casual environments. The goal is to empower students with knowledge and the skills needed to thrive in our world.
